Welcome to this month’s edition of the Monthly Newsletter! It is a joy to share with you how God is working in our church and to highlight what we can thank Him for and pray about together.

Blessing the Children – A Testimony of God’s Faithfulness

Proverbs 22:6 says:
"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."

In our recent service, we celebrated a special moment as two families presented their children to be blessed before the Lord. We prayed for these four children and their families, and the congregation witnessed this occasion, affirming their commitment to support these families according to God’s Word. Let us continue to pray for these children and their parents, that they may grow in faith and experience God’s guidance and love throughout their lives.

The Great Commission – Spreading the Gospel in Uppsala

Jesus says in Matthew 28:18-20:
"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

As an international church, Cross Culture plays a vital role in advancing the Gospel. Despite our different backgrounds, we share the same goal: to make Christ known and glorified.

We want to highlight the Chinese Bible study ministry led by some of our dedicated church members every Saturday. Through this ministry, they share the Gospel with Chinese students and scholars at Uppsala University. Some of these friends have also started attending our services and women’s fellowship. Currently, two Chinese students are taking a course on Christianity with Pastor Ed. We praise God for His work and pray for continued blessings and revival in Uppsala.

Let's remember to pray for the blessed families, the Bible study work among Chinese students, and for all those taking courses on Christian faith. May God continue to use us as a congregation for His glory.
